Dead Pirate Phire

This whole thing started when I was in a SL wedding a bit ago. I was the best man (long story) and this is what I was told to wear. Hey their wedding their rules so I went along with it. It was a lovely wedding by the way. Well unlike a RL wedding I wanted to be able to wear this again so I had a think. Then I spent a weekend watching all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and then MIASNOW had a sale and the rest is blogger history.

You would fear her if you ran into her on the high seas right? Maybe...possibly?

Sunny Days

I was all set to do a post in the outfit I am wearing till a certain Faery started teasing us with pictures of a hat she was making. I took one look at it and knew it was just what it needed. It's actually part of the hunt that is going on at Oh My Stars and will only set you back 10 measly Linden for a hat with 5 poses and no need to plop on a different hat for the poses either....win! Sadly my brain has gone into long weekend mode which means I am just barely a functioning human. There may be more pictures of the poses the hat has on flickr...just maybe if you are curious enough to see. A rotten carrot

For this weeks color I thought I would stick to just what I had in my inventory already (what technically the new harness from Sn@tch was in my inventory before I took the picture). It wasn't too hard, once I found the pants everything else just fell into place. I went a little darker than usual because well I can. Besides even adorable me needs to embrace her darker side on occasion. I am going to stop before I babble you to sleep.

The Rain is almost over

Figures that the first sunny day in a while is when I decide to do a post on rain. See I thought I had done it on this blog already, but umm no I didn't.

The Happy When it Rains event is coming to an end soon, but there is still time, until the 30th in fact. So don't think of this as me being pokey (read lazy) and think of it as a friendly reminder. Now I tried to cram as much as I could into two pictures, but there is more.

I can't pick favorites but I do admit I adore my rain, when it is dry and pixelated and colorful. I urge you with all my urging powers to go and check it out before it ends. Seriously go now or else.....

I want some sun!

It's been raining all week in my area so as I do when that happens I went to soak up some virtual sun. Luckily I have a couple of new bikinis to chose from

And by couple I mean two styles in a bunch of colors, but you only get to see two on me. And shocker...I am not wearing the yellow striped version!

And yes that is blond hair you see upon my head. It happens sometimes, not often, but sometimes. Now if RL can take a hint from SL and give me some sun I will be one happy girl.

Can't buy my Love - the final chapter

After six days of showering the girl with beautiful baubles the boy gave up and finally said, "What would make you happy? What can I do?". The girl looked at him and simply replied, "Have fun with me.", and she ran off into a field....


She chased the fireflies to her hearts content laughing all the time. The boy ran back inside and brought out a jar for her to hold the flashing insects in. As she went to put the last firefly in the jar she slipped and they started to escape.


She was saddened to see the fireflies fly off and the boy saw his chance. He wrapped her up in his arms and consoled her.


Is this the end of their tale or the beginning of another?

Once upon a time there was a pretty girl and a handsome boy who had been separated from one another for a while. And one day they were reunited. They held one another tight.
