A post for a rainy Monday

Since it is raining in my neck of the woods today blogging seemed like a good idea. I wanted to show off a few things today so here they are. See the eyes, hair and dress? Well those are all items for sale at the Garden City Relief fundraiser currently taking place to benefit the victims of the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand. There is something there for everyone and even if you don't see something you want there are donation boxes set up. Every little bit helps you know.

Now the boots are brand new from lassitude & ennui. I want these in my RL closet please. These happen to be the girly version, but there is a style with a flatter heel that is totally unisex. They come in other colors too, but well for this black looked best. I think that is it for today. Hope you all are having a great, or at least tolerable Monday.

So have I blinded you with my superhero (villain?) brightness? Why is it that female superheros and villains often wear boots with heels? I mean mean sure they look sexy and all, but are they really a good choice? I mean sure if you are burying your heel in some bad guys junk it may work out. I may have spent too much time this week looking at the Marvel Encyclopedia with my little man. I should go.

Comfy with a side of sexy

I find something alluring about the little bit of corset peeking out from behind the sweater. At the same time though the sweater is all warm and cozy looking...as the blog title suggests huh? As I often do I enlisted the help of a friend. This time Brandy (of Shine- see my pretty eyes? She made them) helped me pick out the hair. She has fab taste doesn't she? Oh and I am wearing the new VIP skin from Dutch Touch, I look so pretty, if I do say so myself.

Tanning in Teal

If only it were sunny and warm in real life instead of cold with the threat of another storm. Then again if it really was that sunny and warm I wouldn't be outside tanning I would be trying not to burn to a crisp. LOTD February 11th

Well I am a week late with the skirt but hopefully there will be more in more colors in the future for you to grab. See this one is from Miao and it was part of last weeks SCD Deals and it is fantastic. Oh and if you were paying attention there was a different color offered Wednesday for Humpday!


I am also wearing another necklace from Lolapop from the I <3 Originals Fair, in yellow of course. You can kinda see it peeking out from behind my hair. I am also wearing a pair of cabochon earrings from Caroline's that can be picked up at the fair as well. Sadly no yellow, but this coral rose color is very pretty. Hmmm I better go snap more picture now, since I just ran through my pile....

Out for a stroll

Just a quickie little look that I put together that I thought I would share. I just adore how cute the shoes look with the skirt. All prim and pulled together and then the cute little ankle socks with the heels.


And since Valentine's Day is just around the corner I am wearing the Stupid Cupid necklace from Lolapop! that you can get at the I <3 Originals fair. It's cute and you can wear it for more than just Valentine's day.

Emerald time!

I am slowly playing catch up with my 52 Weeks of Color posts. And if you couldn't guess by the title I am doing emerald. Now you would think this would be pretty east right? Nope, not for me, because I had an idea in my head. You see while I was stuck in bed nursing my bum knee I read. What does that have to do with this, well I will tell you. I read almost all the Oz books, and boy are there a lot. Now they aren't all that long, but still there are more than a dozen. Anway, I decided that I wanted to try and figure out what Ozma would wear if she were a little more modern. Oh if you don't know Ozma is the girl ruler of Oz and a fairy.

Back in action

I'm baaaaack. Now that all my knee issues are out of the way I can get back to blogging and this is my first post surgery post! I am breaking my own rules here and posting pictures with shadows. I told myself I wouldn't do it but I couldn't help myself.

I mean how cute do I look with those tights and socks? I never know how much fun layering could be. I think hanging out with Hethr has rubbed off on me. I swear she is like queen of layers. I stuck with creams and earth tones for this picture but I swear I have some bolder colors on the horizon!
