Flying Lessons

I am not a skilled broom flier so with Halloween approaching I decided it would be a good time to practice.


It didn't start off too well.


Finally I got a good grip on it and climbed on (which sounds filthier then intended).


And then I rode all lady-like off into the night. Needless to say I may need a wee bit more practice...and pants. That is a lot of up skirt shots for one post.

Storytime again!

I don't know if I am feeling the Halloween spirit this year or if I have just been hopped up on too much caffeine lately, but I have another story for today. It all started with the jewelry and just kinda snowballed.

Once upon a time there was a fresh faced girl who was chosen to be the sacrifice in the pretend kingdom that exists only for this story. As part of the ritual she was forced to wear the same clothes as the girls before her. Not only that, but she was adorned with the shrunken severed heads of the sacrifices before her.



She begged for her life and her freedom, but to no avail.

She was sadly sacrificed to the fires (shhh don't point out that it makes is hard for the dress to be worn so many times)

My mind is running wild

Halloween means dressing up, which isn't really different then a normal day in SL for some. I decided to seek out the help of a friend so I could let my imagination run wild while dressing up as Little Red Riding Hood. The pictures tell and abridged version of what I think really went on with Red and the Wolf in the woods.

A little post romp cuddle and Red was off to Grandma's leaving the poor Wolf feeling used, hence the whole eating of Granny thing. Lesson here kids is never wham bam thank you ma'am a big bad wolf.

Shiny Jane

No that things have settled down in RL and I have a routine I can finally tackle this backlog of stuff I have. Today I want to show off some new things from Jane (Mischief re branded) and Shiny Things. These two things just came to fit together so nicely. I decided to have a fun time taking the pictures.







I loved pairing the heels with the comfortable casual clothes from Jane. I am a sucker for a good pair of pants with sculpted legs and there is something other then jeans! Oh and sweaters I am a sucker for sweaters too. Well maybe I am just a sucker for clothes I like, which wouldn't make me a sucker so much as a shopaholic......

I haven't even mentioned the heels,and they are yummy. I adore that they can be worn with without looking silly. But but but you can wear them with a dress and still look all girly. Okay so maybe I am not quite all together with my blogging yet as that was a rambling mess. I will get better, at some point.

Back in action

Now that things have settled down with my move in RL it's time to get back to blogging! I am going to start with a little something from the Call for Couture event going on now. Yeah I know I am late to the party, but hey I was moving.


The gorgeous dress and necklace are both from Studio Sidhe. I got to see this dress on Faery's plurk before the event started and adored it even then. The dress comes in two lengths and comes with the necklace shown.


This is the shorter version obviously, but instead of the included necklace I chose something else. The jewelry in this case is also for sale Call for Couture and is from lassitude and ennui. I thought that the leaves of the jewelry complimented the leaf trim of the dress so well. Fair Dark Mouse

Now normally I wouldn't put a gift from a fair up front and center on the blog like this, but for this set from Dark Mouse I am making an exception. You see this pearl set reminds me of the set of pearls my mom wore on her wedding day. I remember it being kept in it's jewelry store box up on a shelf in her armoire completely off limits. So this is my little way to get my hands on the pearls. Usually the jewelry Mouse makes reminds me of my grandmother, in a wonderful way, but this time it was different. There is so much to see in Mouse's booth, below is just a sampling.

Meow? No, Miao!

It's Miao day here on the blog! No I am not talking about kitties, I am talking about Miao the shop. See the Great and Powerful Kess (she is the wizard after all) has rebanded as Miao and has some great offerings at the Jewelry Fair. Above is the Ariella's Heart necklace and earrings (sold separately). As you would expect from Kess at this point all the bits are texture change, as are the other pieces she has at the fair. I would figure out how many combinations there are, but that requires math and well, no , just no. Right then pretty stuff go buy Kess is a wizard.

Bleeding Hearts

I am back for another jewelry fair post. Today I am showing my favorite from lassitude & ennui. The bleeding heart set is one of those sets that speaks to me because the bleeding heart holds certain memories in RL. I won't bore you with the details. Unlike the real life plant though this set comes with a HUD so you can change the colors of the pearls and the flower. There are also two other necklace types for this set, just look below.

Quadruplet Fantasy

Really it should be a sextuplet fantasy because there are six colors, but I think the poor man's brain would shut down with all that sexy. You see all these sexy ladies are wearing the newest release from Luxuria, called Caer. The set comes with panties and sexy sheer bra with prim bow. The shading and wrinkles are just gorgeous that it was hard to force myself to get dressed once again.

My second jewelry fair post of the year

I will say right now that I am sorry if my posts seem a bit rushed lately. See I am trying to squeeze in my blog post while getting ready to move in real life. If only it were as simple as it is in SL. Oh well today I am going to show you my favorite Lolapop! goodie and leave you with little thumbnails like yesterday. It seemed to work out well.


Lola actually named this set Forbidden Fruit, but I like to call it the Bapple set. See bat + apple = Bapple. Yes I realize I am epically cheesy but you wouldn't be here reading if you didn't like my brand of fromage.

Jewelry Fair nepotism

Hmm that title could cause a stink huh? Well in this case it just means I am bogging Sakura's jewelry fair stuff first. She is my absentee blog partner after all.I am going to attempt to keep my jewelry fair posts somewhat picture light, we will see how it goes. Now on with the show.

This set happens to be my favorite which is why it is getting top billing so to speak. I don't know if it is the gold bee or the way the honey shines that makes me love it so. Maybe it is because it comes with a big honking ring and I LOVE big honking rings.

This steampunk inspired necklace is the charity item. Maybe it can be punkish too with the safety pins? Sorry I am terrible at this area, I am more cutsie then tough as I have been told.

A little retro flavor today

This has been sitting in a folder with pictures taken for longer then I can remember. Sadly there are others sitting in blog purgatory as well. Damn that real life, keeps putting me off my game. Anyway this look started with the dress. The dress has a fun retro print to the next task was to find the hair to go with it. I didn't want to be too literal so I think I made a good choice. I admit the jewelry is kinda cliche for the look, but I think it works. If you are nice I think Lola may even put this back out for sale, maybe. Last but not least the footwear. I had myself convinced I wanted go go style boots, but I think these ankle boots give it a more modern edge.

I just want to reach through the computer and strokes those boots lovingly. I may need to seek professional help. Oh hey looks credits *points down to distract you from the babble*

It always seems better on the other side

It seems that when we are young we want to be older, but as we age we long for those carefree days of our youth.


I think every once in a while items get released together and they seem to inspire something in me. As you can tell these two items from the newest release some sort of internal struggle with wanting to be "mature" but still retain some of that youthful vitality or something. I think I was just a little too deep for my own good so lets look at each of these awesome outfits alone.
