Better late then never!

I said weeks ago that I want going to do a post about the new eyes from Shine, well here it is! I have to warn that my postings will be erratic for the next few weeks because of RL stuff, but this is about the eyes.




Yes I am aware that I have shown you the truffle color twoce, but I really needed the pictures to be even, I am anal about that. Anyway there are ten colors for sale now with the Iris one being an in store freebie. The great thing about these eyes, aside from being pretty is that they come with a prim version as well as the normal kind. It's great because that means you can use these eyes for pictures with shadows , well the prim part at least. Or if you are like my absentee blogging partner (yes I am giving her public grief) you can have each eye a different color.

Welcome Fall

Today is the first full day of fall where I live, and of course it is hot. Oh well at least I have the gorgeous fall foilage to look at. My look today was inspired by the coppery colors in the leaves.



The sweater is one of those pieces that while it may be old it is still a classic. I wanted to convey the feeling of cold so I donned my tights. There is just something about striped tights that make me smile.

Wear Grey Post 2

As promised my second post featuring items from Wear Grey for a Day.


This is the collaboration between Dreams and Sn@tch and in it you get the dress, socks and skin. I am all for things with rainbows....even muted ones. I had this overwhelming need to wear my fangs when wearing this skin. I think the essence of Ivey is leaking through or maybe I just like my fangs?

Wear Grey post #1

That's right there is going to be more then one. The items I will be showing today are the ones where 100% of the purchase price goes to the charity. There are if course other items and colors that a portion of the price will go to the charity. You know in case these aren't your color.


The new Victoriana tops from Vanitas Vesture are pretty jeweled tops with sculpty bottoms. Besides the red and purple worn here there are eight other colors that are only available at the Wear Grey event at the moment. I paired it with the Illusion Swirl necklace from Lolapop. The necklace comes with black and silver chains on the chest and spine so it's like getting 4 necklaces for the price of one.



These dresses are the Opiate dresses. I actually wore the blue one in a post I did a few months back. The design on the dress makes one think of swirls of smoke. I wore the rose posture collar from Lolapop with dress. There you have some of the items from the Wear Grey event. A lil bit of everything

Lets see this post contains something from TDR Blue, the OMG Adorable gridwide sale, some newer releases and some old favorites, and no new hair fair hair! Shocking I know. Anyway lets get to it shall we?

The poses used in this post are all from Olive Juice (this is the OMG Adorable thing). See Vampy Phire is exercising because well a vampire really should be physically fit in case dinner decides to run away. My fangs are in perfect order since they are brand new from Schadenfreude. Allegory is a terrific vampire dentist if you weren't aware.

What better clothes to wear to work out in the short shorts and a little sports top. Okay so technically the set is called Cheer Camp from Sn@tch. Hmm I guess vampires could have cheerleaders right? Well either way it is perfect for working out and keeping the body lean.

I bet you are questioning the flower in my hair huh? What a girl likes to look pretty even when she is working up a sweat. The hair is the latest goodie from Exile that you can get at The Dressing Room Blue. And as for the old favorite well that is everything else I have on my body, the Pink Fuel skin, the HOC Apparel shoes and my Shine eyes. Oh but stay tuned because Brandy just release a whole bunch of new peepers at Shine and they are fabulous!

Sakura's Hair Fair Hairs

Yes I am blogging my best friend's hair that she made for the hair fair. See she has worked so very hard to make these that I figured it was the least I could do. Poor thing is so busy I don't think she would ever find time to do it herself. Anyway onto the hair. First up is Charlotte and Analee.

Charlotte is the one on the left and it was actually inspired by the hair style worn by a character in a web comic. It comes with color change hair sticks, but it is mod so you can tweak the colors. Analee is a simplier version of Charlotte but that doesn't mean any less work when into it. And Analee is the charity hair which makes it that much more special.


Zelda is a great hair for fantasy RPing in my opinion. If you head over to here you can get a glimpse of what I am talking about.


Shiek is the dollarbie treat Sakura has out at the hair fair. You can pick it up to and get a look at all the colors of hair she made. It is Zelda without the star covered leather band and with hair stick pins instead. It's a great way to pick out which hairs you want.


Last but certainly not least are the two hairs that I like to call the BFF hairs. Yes the one with the stars is named Phire. Which means the one with the hearts is named Sakura, see BFF hairs. They both come with color change bows, with little accents( star of Phire and heart on Sakura).

OMG Cuteness!

There are a ton of events going on right now. Today I am going to show off three items from the OMG That's Adorable Gridwide 99$L Sale. First off there is the cute as a button skin from Mynerva.


Then on top of the skin is the tattoo layer animal makeup from MIASNOW, which work so well with the poses from {Just A Pose}. Well okay if you are slightly warped and like playing with your food it works. The make up comes with your choice of black or pink noses in large and small. I went for the big pink nose, obviously.

Not another hair fair post!

Yes yes it is, but it is my first of this hair fair so really it's all good right? Anyway my first hair fair blog is gonna be about the new hairs from Katat0nik. You are going to see them all because I can't pick a favorite...sorry.

This is Sweetish, which for some reason I always make is sounds like Swedish in my head. Either way I don't think there is a need for the "ish" at the end because this hair is sweet.


This hair makes me want Kat to make girl scout uniforms! Also I believe this is what Strawberry Shortcake would look like if she were a Berry Scout (Stawberry Shortcake world girl scout). I think I watch too many Saturday morning cartoons.



LaLa and Kandie are like the twins of the hair fair, only they want to be a littlle different so LaLa likes long loose hair while Kandie prefers a more tame, polished look


Bobbie is well a bob with a cute ribbon, which would look great with any of the outfits Kat sells. And speaking of outfits, Kat has a bright blue version of her confetti dress at the hair for as a dollarbie!

It's hot today....

....so I don't feel like wearing any clothes. No no that does not mean this is going to be a nude post, just and one in my undies.

I had originally planned on blogging this last week to go with the latex and leather looks, but I got distracted (okay I was being lazy). So here it is today. It is all paisley and ruffled and girly and I wouldn't want it any other way! Though you could wear it another way if you wanted to since it comes with long ruffles too.


I like the back of this set because it is different, it doesn't have the typical bra back that you would expect to find. It's like a little surprise and really who doesn't like surprises. Well maybe the person trying to get you out of your underthings may not like the surprise, but hey if they want the goodies they should be willing to work a little for them.


I think I am going to go have a rest now. I think I have earned it.

Something punny should go here

No punny or witty title for the post today because I can't think of one. Oh well not the first time. Lets get right to the outfit shall we? See the top, it is a sheer cardi from Sn@tch, no seriously it is. It's a very subtle sheer, not a "here are my boobs sheer", which works for me just fine. Afterall a girl needs to leave a little mystery sometimes. Now onto the skirt. After I bought the sweaters I was thinking about what to wear with them. I wandered into GField for something and when I saw these skirts I just knew. It was fate really, or at least good timing.


I may have gone overboard with the green, but see fall is fast approching here in New England and sooner then I know it where will be no green in sight. Oh well at least I we get the blasted with golds, reds and rust colors before the green hides away for the winter.
