La la la

Sometimes I like to do something different, it's easier to do when I have something to inspire me. This time the inspiration came from two sources, the piano bar scene at Dream Scenes and this back and white skin from Mango,Mango!. I wanted to create the look of an old jazz singer in a club (I may have watched Miss Petigrew lives for a day too many times).

I chose red for the clothing and accessories to go with the red lips of the skin, and because it just pops against the black and white. I hope this post made some sort of sense to you since it was written in a cold medicine induced haze.

Miko, Miku, Aishiteru

Oh hi there, it's been a while, anyone miss me? *watches tumbleweeds roll by and waves at them* Anyways I want to give a huge thanks to Phire for keeping the blog going and being awesome in general while I was dealing with stuff and being super lazy. >.>

Onto the outfit! I wandered(aka avoided real work) today into Sadistic Hacker to check out the Miko hair I was informed I needed to get. The Miko hair is an adorable flowy long pigtail style of super cute anime-ish adorableness. I am on the short side, but for me the hair comes down to mid-thigh. The flexi on it is perfect and makes me want to run out and buy an ao that makes me constantly twirl around! The hair also comes with a version without the squares around the pigtails, I am not sure if this is just the blue version or if they all include the squares.

Right next to the Miko hair is the Miku outfit by ::NiCo:: The outfit comes with shirt, skirt, arm warmers, boots, headphones and nail polish. Lots of prim parts on the outfit so you may need to either adjust your body or the prims, I went with body because as I mentioned before I'm lazy.

Both items are fantastic cosplay of the character Hatsune Miku (go google if you aren't sure what I'm talking about :P)

A night out on the town

There is nothing better for a night out on the town then a sexy little dress and some killer heels. Granted I may only get to dress like that in SL (babysitters are not cheap!) but it's just as fun, and less work.


This sexy little number is the newest release from Pixel Mode as are my fabulous nails. Even though I don't wear them in my posts that often I have a serious prim nail addiction. Maybe it is because I love having long painted nails in RL. The nails have glitter polish on them and come with a HUD so you can change the colors, or go for a simple glitter free french manicure. Seriously though were is the fun in plain? Oh and it comes with so mant gloves to match many skins and a tintable pair to match up to your favorite. It was a piece of cake to match it to my skin.


The dress is available with three different top styles, the animal print (shown in snow leopard), satin (in gold) and leather(in black). To be fair to all of you who like things on all layers I should tell you that this dress only comes with the pant and jacket layers and of course the skirt prim, but seriously that shouldn't stop you for getting it.

Fairy Pretty

After looking all sexified in my last post I decided to go for a sweet fantasy look. I had the perfect dress sitting in my "to blog" folder. The poor dress as languished in there waiting for me to get my act together. I adore the flower inspired skirt of this fairy dress. Maybe I have seen the Tinkerbell movies with my daughter too many times, but when I think of fairies I always seem to think of them dressed in flowers and leaves. The dress comes with two different skirt types, the blooming skirt and the bud skirt below.


Of course no fairy is complete without her ears and flowers in her hair.

Sunday Sexiness

The other day a certain friend of mine was begging for another lingerie post from me. She seems to be the only person who wants to see me in my undies but that is okay I don't mind. She is in luck as I now have a new set of lingerie from Goth1c0.

As you can see from the pictures there are a quite a few different ways this set can be worn. Of course you can wear it like that around the grid if you are brave. I however am an admitted coward and when I needed to run out for a quick sec I decided to toss on a top over the bra.

I was able to achieve the darker look in the skirt by wearing the pants layer as well. How I felt a little less exposed and was able to do my running around. This set also comes with stockings, but I didn't wear them because something about stocking sticking up above boots bothers me. I don't know I am strange like that.

Gray Matter

It's one of those days in RL today where the sky is gray and you are expecting rain, but it is taking it's sweet time to fall.

I am sure most of you have seen the sweater I am wearing since it was a FLF this past week, but it is such a nice comfortable looking sweater that you will just have to suffer with seeing it again. It seems I am really into hats this week because this is the second day I am wearing a hat. I swear I am not having bad hair days!

Even my eyes are gray(ish), but that is because it is the typical color I wear. Oh and for no other reason then I wanted you to get a good look, here are the shoes I am wearing.

Wannabe Hipster

This look took on a life of its own the other night. It all started innocently enough with the shirt. I was trying to get a look together for an event (which I missed because I went to sleep instead)and the theme was geeks. Then 50L Friday hit and League had out this scarf and the colors went so well with the jeans, shirt and shoes.

Toss on some hair, a chunky ring(just because I love them) and some glasses and the look of a wannabe hipster was born. The labor was long, but I love my little wannabe.

I love lingerie

Who doesn't love looking all sexy in lingerie? I know I do. Sure most of us don't wear it for long because well there are other thing to get to, but when you do you feel sexy. One fun thing to do is to take a picture of yourself in some new lingerie and send it to that special someone while they are off in the real world. Not that I have done such a thing. And if they have seen it all already, the lingerie I mean, then it may be time to get some new lingerie, and that's where this post takes us. A little trip to Lingerie by Hollee!

Happy Mother's Day

It's officially Mother's Day here on the east coast, so to all you moms out there Happy Mother's Day! Here is my tip for anyone who hasn't gotten their mom a gift yet. Get her a tiara, it doesn't need to be fancy, a little plastic one will work. It will let her know she is queen and you should treat her as such. Or if she is like me, give her something to wear while doing housework.


See a tiara makes even the most loathsome chore tolerable. Oh a word of warning to the mommies out there who do chores in a tiara, don't forget to take it off before you leave the house, unless you can handle the weird looks you get.

Killing two birds with one post

Earlier this week Sakura was looking at the list of search words and phrases that bring people to our blog. Okay I may not be your Dark Wish, but this Dark Wish lingerie set from Goth1c0 is a wish come true. Holy hotness Batman!

Thank goodness for iPods

You may be asking yourself what the hell an iPod has to do with fashion and I don't blame you. See I always check my email(on my iPod) before bed because I hate to miss a thing and last night there was an offline subscribo message from Apple May Designs about a new release promo. In the message there was a link to the store website so of course I clicked it. I think showed it to Mr. Phire and asked what he thought, to which he responed "Smexy you should get it". It happened that this dress is an XStreet promo so I bought it. And that is why I titled this post what I did. Now I am betting you want to see this "smexy" dress huh?


Here it is in the mini skirt version. Which Mr. Phire thought was perfect for going out to clubs, and I can't say I disagree.


Here is the dress with the ruffled skirt. I think the ruffle skirt is a little more fun then the mini, but that is just my opinion.



As for the accessories I kept it pretty simple with the jewelry but made up for that with the shoes. I know these shoes have been all over the blogs lately but that is well deserved. It took me no time to get the feet tinted to the right color which is a huge plus in my book. The HUDs that comes with these shoes make things so easy, and so many options too!

Zimmy flats lovin'

So in one of my posts yesterday I briefly touched upon the new Zimmy flats from Shiny Things. I figured today it was time to take a closer look at them, since I have been wearing them all the time.

Lets start with the colors and there are plenty to choose from.

Seriously if you can't find a color in the mix that you like well I don't know what to say other then ummm you like some out there colors. Oh yes and fear not there is a black version.

See black, and like magic one minute it has no bow and then next a bow! I personally like the bow, but if you are looking for a more understated look then I could see going bowless. You may be asking yourself, "These shoes look fab but how do they look with an outfit?". Well let's take a look shall we?


Here we have a casual look with jeans and a shirt. A great look for just hanging around and going out shopping and the shoes fit the look.


But of course if you have a date and want to look a little nicer, just toss on a dress and you are ready to go. Sadly I am all dressed up with no where to go.
