Princess Eileen

Every year around St. Patrick's Day I grab my copy of Irish fairy tales and start reading them. See growing up St. Patrick's Day was a big deal, I swear if my Dad could he would have taken it off like one gets Memorial Day off. Anyway back to the fairy tale. I decided to style my look based on the picture in my head of Princess Eileen from the fairy tale The White Cat. See Princess Eileen was taken away from her father by a giant and kept locked away till the day she was forced to marry the Giant.


But then a little white cat visits her, followed by a prince and she must wait for the prince to return to save her.

Finally after some troubles of his own the prince returns, kills the giant and his hounds and they live happily ever after. Okay so that was the heavily edited version of the story, but hey there is only some much you want to read.

Comfy springlike LOTD

Alright here we go. The capris theses are about to go away so if you want them get your ass over to Tuli's before the reopening this weekend. The flats, if you don't own a pair of these from Miel by now, then I don't know what to tell you, they are a staple in my SL closet. The sweater from Sn@tch, what can I say you get a bunch of colors for a low price is it really that hard to think about? The white take is actually part of the shirt I wore here. Look a piece you can wear more then one way...win!



Lets see skin and whatnots are up now. I adore the new skins from L.Fauna. I also love it when I am told I look different then everyone else in them. My eyes are of course from Shine, My ears are one of my favorites from SLink, though I haven't worn ears since this day *gasp* The hair is from Exile and I love the color, it is called Fall, apty named if you ask me. The necklace was a holiday SoM gift from alaMood, so sorry about that maybe you should get over there and joina nd do a little shopping so you don't miss out.

LOTD again

Yes I am doing another look of the day post. This time it all started with the skin. I loved the blend of orange and yellow around the eyes.

The I started throwing on clothes and ended up in black and white. It seemed a little plain to me so I went out and bought a scarf. I sat there staring at myself for a long time because it felt like it needed something else to finish it off. The it hit me! I needed a purse. Now I went to plurk to get ideas on where to go. Of course this caused an uproar because I have some friends who are very anti-purse in SL. I bet bet they are secretly have a purse fetish in RL. Anyway this is the finished look.....

March Specials at Lazy Places

Yes I am at it again shilling for friends. What can I say they keep making stuff and I want to share. Anyway my blogging cohort (who has been to busy making stuff to blog) has decided to start offering limited edition monthly specials starting this month. Since St. Patrick's day is right around the corner and she is a pale Irish girl, like myself, she is making an appropriately themed offering. Don't worry though, these can be worn year round. Look of a few days

That's right I am sharing another look that I have thrown together. In fact I may be sharing a few looks of the day since it seems all I have time to do lately. Darn RL demanding I attend to it.

Anyway the look that is what I am here to talk about. It all started with the vest which was a Fifty Linden Friday item from around Valentine's Day I believe. Once I decided on a pair of pants the rest was easy. Hey it's not easy when you have a ton of pants in your inventory. And yes I do need all those blue jeans! The flats are my go to flats from Miel, they are cute and have little color change bits all over which makes them quite versatile. Look I actually wore jewelry, I am getting better at accessorising no?


I picked the hair and skin to keep this sweet and cute, no unlike me if I do say so myself.
