This is some great crap!

It's the most wonderful time of the year. No I am not talking about back to school, but that is a nice bonus. I am talking about the Poop Hunt taking place on Festivale right now. The sim look really shitty right now, I mean literally, there is shit everywhere. It looks like someone tried to clean it up with toilet paper, but the job was just too big so now the place is covered with poo and potty paper. I suggest donning a biohazard suit and sifting through all the excrement because you may just find some wonderful crap. I have a few stool samples for you to look at!

High School Clique Fashion- The Artsy Student

It's time once again for one of my themed posting sprees. As you have probably guessed I am taking on the cliques from my high school days. Well there are more like a caricature of the clique they are representing. I mean I don't remember anyone walking around school looking quite like this, but you get the point. I plan on showing off one clique a week. Now on with the show!

Here is my little artist before class just hanging out in the hall. Most of the accessories she has are CSR gifts from Gritty Kitty. There is still time to get the painters apron, but hurry because it ends Monday I believe! The details on it are amazing.

Ripped jeans and a tank top for movement allows her to make broad brush strokes or maybe throw things, you never know an artists temperament. Even in SL where we are all adults you can still fit into one of the high school cliques. So were you an artist in high school or now? or will you clique be coming next?

Jammie Party!

Last night was the Slumber Party at ~silentsparrow~ and boy was it fun! There were bodies plopped all over the ground in front of the screen as we all watched, out of sync of course, Pretty in Pink. Some people were seeing the movie for the first time...that's right Sakura I am totally calling you out. Anyway I thought I would share my look from the party because frankly I thought I was adorable.


Yes I have elf ears. I couldn't help myself they have frogs and I love frogs. I even had pet frogs once, they were named Shaggy and Scooby. I also have my dollie, quite a few people had a friend with them at the slumber party last night. It was kind of cute to see grown men with plushie little friends.

Even Sakura brought a friend and I got to know it a little to well when she squished me last night. Never has the movie Pretty in Pink seemed so long!

I love tentacles

There I said it. I have this thing for the squirmy slimy things. Don't know why. I sure don't like them in RL but in SL I seem to be drawn to them (clean your dirty minds people, I don't like them like that!) So when I heard of the Designer's United event and the Jellyfish theme I ran over to see what was to be offered and I was not disappointed!

I thought I would show off the two things that I loved the most from all the amazing creations there. The LaGyo_Octopus ring was the first thing that caught my eye and got my lindens. This ring is incredible! It's big and chunky and full of tentacle love :D There is an incredible amount of detail in the ring.


The other thing that caught my eye was the [[SHADE THRONE]]] JELLYFISH e a r r i n g s. These glowy Jellyfish come in a jar with a little Jellyfish inside. It was very hard to get a clear photo of the earrings as the textures swirl and move continuously in a beautifully hypnotic way. I took a photo with the night windlight setting so you could get a clearer look at them since they glow like crazy in my usual setting. I wish I could have gotten a better photo for you but you can go check out the jellyfish in the jar and see for yourself how it moves and looks.

Panty Raid Tease

It's teaser time! Tomorrow starts the Starlust Panty Raid and I was able to get my greedy little hands on a few things to tease you with already. Okay so it doesn't hurt to have friends in all the right places. I am not ashamed of that.

Mochi Milena of Pink Fuel uber-awesome-cuteness-makes-your-head-explode has recently released the amazing Raine line of skins. I am showing the 3 lightest tones here because I have recently taken up being as pale as possible to match my pasty hermit complexion in RL.

There are 21 Makeups to choose from including some of the best runny/emo/rained on/my lover left me, i'm so sad makeups I have seen. My favorite of the line is the Astronaut. All of Mochi's makeups are colorful and well done, nice and soft. All skins come with both light and dark eyebrow options and freckles!!!!!

The lips on Mochi's skins are my favorite lips in SL right now. They have the perfect shading and soft pouty plumpness. The beautiful highlights makes the lips all kissable *puckers up*

The bodies on Mochi's skins are very natural looking. Soft shading in all the right areas, no crazy abs or holy crap look at that cleavage! For anyone wishing to know, there is no hair down there.

There is a chill in the air

At least in my living room there is thanks to the a/c.

This is how I feel, chilled and in need of a cardigan. In this case a wicked cute one from anuenue. I picked this one up while stocking up on CSR cards. If you haven't heard about the CSR even then you must be living under a rock the past week or so. No offense. Anyway I picked up this cardigan and I love the little flowered ribbon trim on it. I am a sucked for that sort of thing.

I paired the cardigan with my two wardrobe staples, a pair of jean from Decoy and a halter top from Naive. I finished off the look with a pair of mary jane style pumps from Shiny Things.

Spotlight: Eye Candy Belisama's jewlery for Black Swan

Long enough title huh? Well in the spotlight today we have one of the offerings from Eye Candy that can be had from the Swan Song event over at Black Swan. Belisama's Mantle is sold as separate necklaces or the Liz Taylor pack which features all three, the option I totally suggest. First we will take a look at Belisama's Torc.

The Torc is the simplest of the three and I don't mean that in a bad way. Trust me when you see the other two you will understand. The gold of the Torc has a hammered sort of look to it in my opinion. I love the way the pieces flow from one to another so fluidly. Watch we got from Torc to the Jewels.

See what I was saying about flowing together? Notice how the the back is the same at the front of the Torc and now you have this fancy front. Now I have struggled with what to call the adornments hanging from the necklace, are they feathers, talons or am I putting too much thought into naming it instead of enjoying it's beauty? Last, but by no means least of the trio is the Mantle.

Again we have the flow from one piece to the next with the Mantle incorporating parts of the Torc and Jewels into it, but still being it's own at the same time. The Mantle is made up of red jeweled feathers. It just begs for an exposed back to showcase it in all it's glory. After seeing all three now you can understand why I called the Torc the "simplest" of the group. Click on the pictures for larger views, you won't be sorry.

Spotlight : Shine and Exile Black Swan goodies

Today I am going to focus the spotlight on Shine and Exile. These two go together like peanut butter and jelly, at least to me. So here there are being blogged together. I am wearing the Breeze hair from Exile in both these pictures which is available at Black Swan only at the moment. In the first set of photos I am wearing the Brimstone jewelry which is technically intended for the menfolk, but can easily be edited smaller for the females out there.

As the name indicates the Brimstone set is geared toward the element of fire, perfect for me! If you notice the orange looking gemstones, well the texture of these actually looking and moves like flowing lava. Sadly not something I could really capture in pictures. The other beads and medallions are carved with what looks to be a Celtic sort of design.


Next is the ladies set call Nereid. I admit I turned to Google to find out what it meant. What I learned was that Nereids are sea nymphs, making it a very fitting name for this set.

This set comes with two necklace styles, bracelets and earrings! The necklaces come in chest and spine attachment points so you can wear them together like I did.

The cascade necklace features metal waves mixed with pearls and peal-like water droplet dangling from the center, which you can't see in the pictures. The choker is made up of three strands of pearls with a rectangle medallion in the center with a water droplet almost encased in it. The bracelet is an elegant combination of both the cascade necklace and choker. The earrings take the water droplet and wraps it in the metal waves of the necklace and bracelet. I apologize for not getting better pictures of all the pieces, but think of it as motivation to go check it out for yourself.
