I love Noam <3

If you are one of those anti-love and blogging people one truly enjoys kind of people then scroll on by because this is a first in several blog posts I will make of people I love.

Those of you who are still here, gather around while I profess my love for Noam Sprocket.

Noam's shop, Gritty Kitty for those who don't know, is one of those places I try to avoid because every time I go in there I go broke >_<

My most favorite things in his shop is his hair. I have been a fan of Noam's hair from the start as my sobbing hair folder reminds me every time I buy more. Each new release is even better than the one before it so there is no way I can stop! One of my favorite features on many of Noam's newer hairs is the texture change streaks. It allows me to wear the same hair for days but match it to different outfits each time. The hair I am wearing in these photos is the XD hair. When my hair is longer this is exactly how I wear it in RL. <3

Another of my favorite items in the SCHMOOPS. How cute are these shoes? The nose and ears are color change on them too. These are the only shoes available at Gritty Kitty but maybe someone can talk Noam into doing more because these are some of my favorites.

Noam also makes some of the most unique items I have ever seen such as this Devil Collar. The chain is amazing on this as it's all prim, not some odd textured thing like most chains are. I love the way it twists and curls on it's way down to the devil tail at the end.

Now you may have noticed my new fawn parts. Noam has recently released Fawnication, a set of Ears, Horns and tails available in White, Black and Brown. The ears are scripted to twitch when clicked and go crazy twitching when you type :D Noam has added +10 cuteness and awesomeness to my avatar. xD

Among the clothing and hair and general win of everything in Gritty Kitty you can also find clothing. Noam has recently released some new t-shirts. I am wearing the ORLY? in green in all of my photos. I love the little details Noam adds to things such as the holes in the shirt, giving them a nice worn and loved feeling. I'm also wearing the art school pants in the ripped version, which provide you with prim cuffs if you feel the need to use them.

This is where I make my exit with my hearts and rainbows and fluffy kittens with horns.

Ladybugged

I am so lucky to have some of the sweetest and most talented people on the grid as my friends. Recently Sven and I had wanted to build upon our bug collection of shoes and so the Bugged Boots were born. My favorite of the set was the Ladybugs. Not wanting them to live just on boots I added them to our flats and dollie shoes too.

Once I had those done I realized they desperately needed something else. I turned to the Queen of Cute dresses (someone make this woman a cute crown kthxbai) Katat0nik Pidgeon and asked if she would make a matching dress for them.

And so Kat created the Ladybugged Dress! Adorned with ladybugs of the utmost cuteness :D The dress comes with skirt, strappy top, sheer shirt, panties and ladybug covered stockings ^_^ The dress is available in eight colors!

Instead of the usual ruffle panties that have come with previous dresses, Kat has made these panties in the style of her fruit swirl sets. Very cute!

Oh one more thing, see the ladybugs on the back of the dress? They are the same ones that fly out of the boots! So if you have ever wanted your very own Ladybug army to take over the world with your cuteness? Now is the time!

Ok one more thing I swear! Both Lazy Places and Katat0nik are on the same sim so when you visit one just walk over to the other :D

My Veiw: Doodads

Are you looking for that cute or quirky piece of jewelry to add to your SL jewelry box or just a little pick me up to make you smile? Well I suggest you head on over to Paisley Mizin's new shop Doodads. Paisley has moved beyond socks and opened a jewelry store, below is just a small sampling of what you can find.

First off we have the Elephant Earrings. I have it on good authority that these happen to be Paisley's favorite. Oh and before you think I am a total ditz I know my earrings are two different sizes, that is because I wanted to show you the two size options. Pretty smart of me huh?

Next up is the Tomatonose Set. The bright colors and general cuteness of this one had me thinking about the pictures of Harajuku girls I saw while googling them for a challenge. That of course is my opinion and I may possible be way off. Hush I know what you are thinking, I am not off that way!

Last up is my personal favorite the Psycho Butterfly set. Again this set comes with two different sized earrings. The smaller ones are great if you to be subtle, but I say go big or go home! The vibrant colors in this set make it easy to match to just about anything you may have. And hey if you can't find something to wear with them well that is just an excuse to go shopping.

Those are just three examples of some of the goodies you can get over at Doodads. There is something for every budget over there even some for just a couple of Lindens. I am not going to show it too you, but trust me it is adorable!

It's time for another mostly nude odd creature installment.

So...this is my butt. Haha. Ok sorry, couldn't help myself. Anyways, today I was wandering the Albero accessory sale and came across an adorable girl with digi paws, tail and ears. Now usually I admire from afar and later regret not asking where someone got something. The thing is, I have been searching for legs like this for ages. I was happy when I got my faun legs a while back but still longed for paws. So I sucked up my courage and asked and was direct to xstreet and this amazing set!

Mutation Industries (best know for some incredible furry avatars) has brought us their Cat-Person Parts. Now as soon as I put them on and saw the shape of the ears and the feet I immediately thought Fox Demon! Maybe it was the red color I chose. Oh red, how I love thee, I would have your little colorful babies if it was possible! *ahem* sorry about that.

The ears have three positions that you can change by simply clicking the ear. Also there also options of having normal, tuffted or notched and tuffted like you see here on me. The legs and paws come in two sizes, one for the shorties like me and one for the taller people. The claws have three nail positions.

Did you notice the amazing tattoo I'm wearing? hyasynth Tiramisu has presented us with several new tattoos. The crowjane tattoos seen here feature birds and skeleton keys and swirls of awesome all over your body. That's right kids I'm gushing. I am allowed because I am a fox demon and I say so. So... :P I hope to see hya make more tattoos someday :D (no pressure hya >.>)

I love that SL gives me the ability to be whatever I want. If I want to be human, I can. Elf, yep! Cardboard Box! Um...ok....why not? I don't judge.

I have a massive collection of avatars to choose from. When I'm feeling sad or even grumpy I pull one out and run amok. One of my favorites is the Lost Ferals Wolf.

Look at me. I am insanely cute. If you don't find me adorable you have no soul. I mean come on! I have a heart on my forehead! Look at my eyes!! You know you would give anything to snuggle up next to me and pet me and um....feed me toast! :D (Because it's a well known fact that Wolves love toast!)

The Lost Ferals Wolf comes in several colors and has lots of customization options. You can pretty much attach anything extra you want like I have done with the toast and wings. Fun right? Yes, of course it is.

Poco Pals! I think I just died from the cute.

I'm sure by now most of you have heard of or even own your very own Loco Pocos Avatar. If not, get out from under your prim rock and go get one! Now even if being adorably furry and tiny isn't your thing (really? come on, look at them, they are cute! Why wouldn't you want to look like this?) Adam n Eve Beauty

Adam n Eve has released a new skin line named Beauty. The beauty line introduces the hair base type skin to the Evolution line. I am happy to see more and more skin designers offering the option of a hair base to their skins, I like to wear these type of skins to very laggy places. There is also a hair piece that comes with the skin, allowing you a simple low prim bun. ^_^

The part I liked best about the beauty skin is the lips. The glossiness of the lips is perfect. I am wearing the Rainbow makeup option here, the makeup is very light and subtle. There is shading (blush?) along the side of the face that can give you a more mature look depending on your shape. I first tried this skin on my usual shape and it made me look much older, so if you are looking for a very youthful skin, this one is not for you.

The overall body of this skin is well done. Good shading overall, nothing harsh. Something else I wanted to point out, which is going to sound odd, the back of the knees are really well done on these skins! I know that most people don't notice things like that but I do.

Each skin in this line includes both the hair base skin and a bald skin. Also included are a manicure and pedicure.

Currently the Beauty skin is only available with a blonde base, however more hair colors and skin ethnicity are planned.

Some more Spring style

 

I am slowing getting back into the flow of blogging and SL after taking a little break. I have had this all ready to blog before my time away, but just never got around to it which is sad because I really love this look. It all started with the skirt,it happened to be a gift during the egg hunt at Cupcakes around Easter. Yes that is how long I have had these pictures waiting. I knew that I wanted a cute cropped jean jacket and after asking around on Plurk I headed over to BareRose and found just what I was looking for. The scarf was a no brainer, I knew Maitreya had what I wanted, what I didn't realize was that is scarf is scripted to change. How cool is that? It was like getting seven scarves for the price of one. Since I was picking up the blues in the skirt with my shirt choice (my go to halter from Naive) I picked up the scarf in a shade of purple.

Now I am going to take a moment to talk about just my shoes. I was through XStreet one day for something and somehow spotted these. Now I admit I was a little skeptical at first, because the price was too good to be true. I was however pleasantly surprised. I suggest those of you looking for a bargain check them out. These shoes happen to be scripted to color change,another added bonus. Well enough of my babble, down below is what you are really here for.

We're All Mad Here

Many of you know that a new set of Wonderland themed sims has opened up called Feed your Head :D Split into two sims, March Hare and Red Queen, these sims take you on a shopping tour of Wonderland and through the Looking Glass.

I was lucky enough to get a spot on the March Hare sim! Available at the Lazy Places shop here are some new poses,cookies, and a new cuppy cake!
